Abstract

Adolescents require a greater intake of nutrients than when they were children, but teenagers tend to adopt wrong consumption patterns, namely the nutrients they consume are not in accordance with their needs. Indonesia has a triple burden of nutritional problems, namely stunting, wasting and obesity as well as micronutrient deficiencies such as anemia. Based on 2018 Riskesdas data, it shows that 25.7% of teenagers aged 13-15 years and 26.9% of teenagers aged 16-18 years have short and very short nutritional status. To improve adolescent health, it is necessary to detect the risk of nutritional disorders, both excess and deficiency. The method used in implementing community service activities is by using the method of checking nutritional status and counseling on balanced nutrition to class XI female students at Taman Mulia High School, Kubu Raya Regency. There are 17 teenagers who consume food according to balanced nutrition, 2 teenagers with poor nutritional status because they don't like eating and usually eat 2 times a day or even once a day, and 4 teenagers with more nutritional status because they like to consume sweet drinks. , eat fried foods and junk food. The results of questions and answers with teenagers revealed that many teenagers felt that junk food was tastier than healthy food.
