PEMERIKSAAN KEHAMILAN DAN EDUKASI PEMILIHAN PENOLONG PERSALINAN PADA IBU HAMIL DI DESA MADU SARI, KECAMATAN SUNGAI RAYA KABUPATEN KUBU RAYA

Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) examination is a pregnancy examination to optimize the mental and physical health of pregnant women. So that they are able to face childbirth, postpartum period, preparation for breastfeeding and the return of reproductive health naturally. Pregnancy is a period that starts from conception until the birth of the fetus. The duration of normal pregnancy is 280 days (40 weeks or 9 months 7 days). This pregnancy is divided into 3 semesters, namely; first trimester pregnancy starting from 0-14 weeks, second trimester pregnancy starting from 14-28 weeks, and third trimester pregnancy starting from 28-42 weeks. Based on health data at the village health clinic in Madu Sari, it shows a high pregnancy rate in 1 year of around .... People and the high number of helpers by Traditional Birth Control. The purpose of this activity is to improve the health of pregnant women and detect early the risk of health problems and improve the selection of help by health workers. The method used in implementing community service activities using the method of pregnancy examination and education on the selection of birth attendants for pregnant women in Madu Sari Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Based on pregnancy data in Madu Sari Village, it shows that there are still high levels of pregnancy examinations and birth attendants with traditional birth attendants. The results of the Q&A with pregnant women show that many pregnant women carry out pregnancy examinations and birth attendants with traditional birth attendants because they are more comfortable, cheaper and always available.
