EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA DAN PEMBERIAN TABLET FE PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI SMP MI MIFTAHUL HUDA DESA MADU SARI KECAMATAN SUNGAI RAYA

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where thw Hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is lower than normal levels for groups of people based on age amd gender, in adolescent women yhe normal levels for groups of people based on age and gender, in adolescent women the normal Hb level is 12-15 gr/dl (Adriani,2017).The results of the 2018 basic health research report by (Balibangkes in Indonesia, in the 15-24 year age group, (Siska, 2017).The aim of the community service is to provide education on preventing anemia and giving fe tablets to teenagers. The method used in implementing community service activities is using educational methods, counseling on preventing anemia and giving fe tablests to young women at Mi Mifhatul Huda Middle School. Madu Sari Village, Sungai Raya district. There were 20 teenagers who were given eduaction on preventing anemia and fe tablets. The result of interview showed that there were 15 young women who knew about anemia prevention and taking fe tablet who did not did know about preventing anemia and fe tablet. There were 5 people with reason that they did not reveice education on anemia prevention amd adiministering fe tablests
